Cheshmeh Khosh Gas Compression Station

• The project for the construction of the Cheshmeh Khosh and Paydar-e Gharb gas compression stations has been defined on a 70,000-square-meter site located in Ilam Province. The project was officially awarded to the Oil Industries Engineering and Construction Company (OIEC) in the form of an EPC contract in December 2022, with the objective of supplying more than half of the feedstock required by the NGL 3100 Plant and collecting 120 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of associated gas from the Cheshmeh Khosh and Paydar-e Gharb fields. Under this project, the outlet gas pressure will be increased to 348 bar at the Cheshmeh Khosh Station and to 84.5 bar at the Paydar-e Gharb Station, both at a temperature of 70°C.
• The project parties comprise Dehloran Petro Refinery Company as the Client and the Oil Industries Engineering and Construction Company (OIEC) as the EPC Contractor.
• Considering that all construction activities at the existing station had been suspended for more than 13 years, the major project activities and work fronts included the following:
• Inspection, verification, and re-storage of more than 129,000 items of goods and equipment, including warehouse construction, identification, inventory-taking, testing, and repair.
• Repair, refurbishment, and commissioning of 22 compressors.
• Completion and rectification of the upstream electrical substation to provide the power and electricity required for commissioning.
• Completion and commissioning of new flares, together with the completion and operationalization of Bank 1 (sweet gas) and Bank 2 (sour gas).
• Full procurement of the remaining goods and equipment required for the project.

The Cheshmeh Khosh Gas Compression Station reached the provisional acceptance stage in December 2025.
