Ramshir and Mansouri Oil Fields Development

In line with the objective of maintaining and increasing production from oil fields, the National Iranian South Oil Company awarded 26 work packages for oil fields.

Ramshir Oil Field

• One of these packages is the development of the Ramshir Oil Field as an integrated EPC/EPD package, with the objective of increasing crude-oil processing capacity by 55,000 barrels per day and gas-processing capacity by 110 MMSCFD. The field was discovered in 1962, and its first well was brought on stream in 1966.
• The Ramshir Oil Field is located 145 km southeast of Ahvaz.
• The project scope includes drilling and completion of seven production wells and two produced-water disposal wells; workover and dual completion of two wells; construction of a central gathering, operating, and processing facility; construction of a gas compression station, including dehydration units; construction of oil and gas transmission pipelines; wellhead facilities; flowlines; industrial water and wastewater transmission lines; power supply to the new units; and construction of a permanent Employer’s accommodation camp.
• The contract termination notice was issued on 11 August 2024. At present, drilling of seven wells has been completed, the Employer’s camp has been handed over, and two wells have reached the flow stage. The Employer’s production benefit is 5,000 barrels per day.

Mansouri Oil Field

• One of these packages is the development of the Mansouri Oil Field (Asmari), with the objective of increasing production by 30,000 barrels per day and maintaining production at 17,000 barrels per day. The field was discovered in 1963 and brought on stream in 1974. It covers approximately 7,500 hectares. The reservoir is located in the Asmari formation, with estimated oil initially in place of approximately 2,970 million barrels. The field currently has 28 producing wells.
• The Mansouri Oil Field is located 45 km southeast of Ahvaz, adjacent to the Ahvaz Field to the north, the Ab-Teymour Field to the west, and the Shadegan Field to the northeast.
• The contract termination notice was issued on 15 September 2024. At present, drilling of nine wells has been completed and six wells have reached the flow stage. The Employer’s production benefit is 10,000 barrels per day.
